American Kidz no. 1 is the first in a series of porcelain dolls with a new poseable body. They can wear clothes which fit the 18″ American girl – a vinyl doll that is very popular in the States. These bisque kits feature a paintable eye option or insertable eye option. The doll shown pictured has been china painted, however Dianna Effner from Expressions Dolls is currently producing a non-fired technique for those doll makers without access to a kiln.
